BVN’s Sydney Studio Opens its Doors for Sydney Open This Sunday
Want to see where some of Australia’s most iconic buildings begin? How an idea becomes a 60-storey skyscraper, a city block or one of the world’s most sustainable workplaces?
As part of Sydney Open this Sunday , BVN’s Sydney Studio will be opening its doors to the public.
On Sunday our studio will be one of 26 venues (including many ordinarily off-limits to the public). We welcome visitors with an interest in the buildings that help make Sydney, “Sydney” – and the people who create them.
Curious urbanophiles can expect to step into an inspiring ideas incubator. And design studio. And collaborative workspace, where futuristic elements meet time-honoured architectural traditions.
Things to see and do in the studio will include:
- Model making (both the handmade and 3D printed kind)
- A gallery showcase of some of BVN’s most iconic projects (including Quay Quarter Tower , Sirius, New York’s re-plyand as sneak previews of the hotly anticipated Atlassian Central,City Tattersallsand Sydney Fish Markets)
- Virtual excursions through some of our buildings in our VR immersion space
- General viewing of our design studio‘s custom interior fit-out and sustainability initiatives, including Systems Reef 2 , the world’s first 3D printed air distribution system
