BVN Takes Top Honours at the 2022 AIA National Awards
It was “game on” at last night’s Australian Institute of Architects National Awards, held at Taronga Zoo! BVN took home three awards and celebrated with good friends, inspiring peers and fellow winners. No lions.
Our own beautiful BVN Brisbane Studio won the Emil Soderson Award for Interior Architecture. Our design for Brisbane South State Secondary College won the Daryl Jackson Award for Educational Architecture. The “named” awards are amongst the highest honours granted.
With KTA we shared a national award for Commercial Architecture, for our co-designed Queen & Collins precinct in Melbourne.
The 2022 jury said this year’s entries “truly captured the spirit of Australian architecture” and were “...built on landmarks of Australian identity: visually and viscerally connected to place”.
We thank and congratulate our clients and collaborators, who made these projects such a success.
