Everything Mark does is for people. Regardless of the type of project, Mark’s skill is in finding common ground in projects not just in the outcome but also in the process. Architecture is a way of creating connection, belonging and wellbeing and Mark’s skill is in bringing people together during the process for an end result that is equally inclusive. Mark strives for clarity and authenticity, an advocate and role model for the unique contribution that architects can make to projects and society. Sustainability is high on Mark’s agenda, with a particular focus on reducing waste. He dreams of a more efficient design and construction industry, and seeks more collaborative ways of working.
