The Aboriginal Centre for Excellence kicks off during NAIDOC week
BVN kicked off NAIDOC week with the Aboriginal community at Mt Druitt by walking NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs Sarah Mitchell and, Minister for Western Sydney Stuart Ayres, around the Aboriginal Centre for Excellence (ACE) at the former Whalan High School site.
ACE - partnered with Microsoft - is a place of education, business development and community for young Aboriginal adults in Western Sydney .
The Premier also announced the awarding of the $7.8M construction contract to Aboriginal owned contractors PSG Holdings and everyone is looking forward to its November completion.
